DAVID LYTLE


David joined the Olathe Community Orchestra in Sept. 1993 and has been the Principal Cello of the Olathe Community Orchestra since January 1999.  He has served on the Board of Directors since 1995, including terms as President and Vice-President. He is currently Vice-President of the Orchestra Association. David is originally from the Wichita area, and earned an Electrical Engineering degree from Wichita State University.

OCO was the first group David joined after moving to Kansas City in June 1988. Since then, David has been very active with orchestras and string ensembles.  David has played with the Kansas City Philharmonia Orchestra, the Medical Arts Symphony and the Church of the Resurrection Orchestra in addition to the OCO.  He performs regularly with two string quartets, the Lytle String Quartet and the CORtet of the Church of the Resurrection.

David is an Instrumentation/Electrical Engineer by profession.
